Adult Karate

A full curriculum of adult karate and martial-arts instruction in a safe, friendly environment. Beginners start with basic blocks, kicks, punches, and grabs; as you progress you'll master spinning and jumping techniques, take-downs, and ground work — always grounded in the philosophy of self-defense.

Karate isn't a sport. The focus is teaching you to move, block, and counter with hard-hitting, disabling techniques that turn the tables on an attacker so you're not the victim. The training itself is a circuit-style, whole-body workout — rapid arm movements, kicking, punching, and blocking that builds balance, agility, and strength while you lose weight and get in shape.

  • Group classes — one hour, offered multiple days a week.
  • Private instruction — flexible day and time, a half hour of concentrated one-on-one training.
  • Class times: Mon, Wed, Thu · 6:30–7:15 PM.

Kids Karate

In children's classes the focus is on a positive, confident outlook — because self-confidence and self-discipline are the most valuable skills we can teach a child. Students are grouped so everyone progresses at their own pace and skill level.

  • 4–8 Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced — fundamentals, basic fitness and stretching, working alone and in small groups, plus technique practice on assistant instructors and bags.
  • Ages 9 and up — more physically demanding, always partnered up, with more sparring and bag work. Stronger students begin learning adult Karate techniques.

Kids Jiu Jitsu

A grappling-based martial art that teaches kids how to stay safe and in control on the ground — where many real scuffles end up. Through leverage, position, and technique, smaller students learn to defend themselves without relying on size or strength.

Beyond self-defense, Jiu Jitsu is one of the best confidence builders for children. It rewards patience and problem-solving, gives kids a healthy outlet for energy, and teaches respect and composure under pressure — all in a safe, supervised, encouraging room.

  • Live, controlled practice with similar-age, similar-size partners.
  • Anti-bullying skills — control a situation without throwing a punch.
  • Builds focus, discipline, and real physical confidence.

Teen / Adult Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is widely regarded as one of the most effective martial arts for real self-defense — built on the idea that a smaller, weaker person can control and defend against a larger, stronger opponent using leverage, technique, and ground control.

Classes combine drilling and live rolling so you develop practical skill fast. It's also a phenomenal full-body workout that builds strength, mobility, and endurance, with a supportive training community whether your goal is self-defense, fitness, or competition.

  • Beginner-friendly fundamentals plus live, controlled rolling.
  • Real ground-defense skills that work regardless of size.
  • One of the best conditioning workouts you'll find.
